Light to medium weight leather hiking/climbing boots (well broken in!)

Light-weight hiking shoes (these can be tennis shoes)

Gaiters

Three pairs of socks light-mid-weight non-cotton socks

Wool or pile pants

GORE-TEX® pants with full-length side zippers

GORE-TEX® shell-type jacket

Insulated parka (down or synthetic)

Synthetic long underwear – two shirts and one bottom

Wool sweater or pile jacket

Light hiking pants

Two cotton shirts

Wool stocking hat

Ski gloves and light polypro gloves

Wool mittens with an overmitten

Bandanna and baseball cap

Swim suit

Personal equipment (each member to provide):

Secure travel wallet. Copy of first two pages of your passport (carry separately).

Copies of your shot records including Yellow Fever Endorsement

Internal frame pack – at least 3,000 cubic inch capacity

Duffel bag to be carried by the porters (for extra personal gear – use a travel lock)

Sleeping bag (down or synthetic) – rated to at least 10 degrees Fahrenheit

Thermarest pad

Sunglasses and ski goggles

Suntan lotion and lip protection (SPF #15)

Two wide mouth water bottles (One-quart size) – with insulated covers

Large drinking mug

Good headlamp with two sets of new batteries

Camera and film

Lightweight toilet articles

Personal first aid kit to include the following: Aspirin, Moleskin, Antacids, Ciprofloxacin, Band-aids, Imodium

Iodine crystals for water purification

Hand towel

Toilet paper

Bic lighter

Five large plastic garbage bags

Collapsible ski poles

Wrist watch with alarm

Personal snack food for summit day (drink mixes as well if you like them)

All clients are required to bring all the personal equipment from the equipment list provided.
